Statement of Faith
GCA partners with parents who share our vision and are actively pursuing discipleship at home and in a local church by training the head, heart, and hands of our students in the realm of vocational and educational training.
This partnership can only occur when parents and schools fully embrace Kingdom discipleship, agreeing together on the practical implications of this discipleship and on the foundational beliefs in our Statement of Faith.
We Believe.....
that God reveals Himself through His creation and the Word of God, the Bible.
the Bible to be wholly inspired by the Holy Spirit, infallible and inerrant in the original manuscripts, and the authoritative Word of God.
that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, each equally possessing all the attributes of deity.
in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
that Adam and Eve were originally created in the image of God, sinned by disobeying God, and were thus alienated from the Creator.
this Fall corrupted human nature and brought all people under divine condemnation.
that God created humans as male and female and that both genders reflect the image and nature of God, and that marriage is between one man and one woman.
salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone.
that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is essential.
in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved into the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His body, which is composed of all people who have been joined to Him through saving faith. God teaches His people to assemble together regularly for worship, for participation in sacraments, for edification through the Scriptures, and for mutual encouragement.
that Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the gospel throughout the world and to disciple people from every nation.
